Our diagnostic toolkit
We use a carefully selected suite of leadership diagnostics to understand the individual, the team and the system around them. Each assessment gives a different lens — together, they create a richer picture of strengths, behaviours, motivations, judgement, relationships and impact.
Leadership impact
Motives & relationships
Personality & derailers
Beliefs & drivers
Natural talent
Team environment
Judgement & decision-making
The 5H® gives you more than a single point measurement. It reveals all of a leader's faculties and how those interact and work together under real pressure.
There are five clear lenses through which we approach developing the whole self in leadership: Head, Heart, Hunch, Hands and Habits.
5H® was born from the belief that traditional executive programmes often develop partial leaders, sustainable only in the short term.
Our purpose is to develop whole leaders, where thinking, feeling, sensing, doing and practising are engaged and integrated.
Who we are and how we show up. What happens inside a leader's mind and emotions.
How that inner state becomes behaviour, decisions and impact.

The DNA 360 Profiler
Dr Nigel Guenole, a globally respected expert in leadership assessment, behavioural science and people analytics, played a pivotal role in the development and validation of CDNA's 5H™ Leadership Framework.
Working closely with CDNA, Nigel brought scientific rigour to the framework, helping us test and validate the five dimensions of Head, Heart, Hunch, Hands and Habits, ensuring the model was grounded in robust behavioural and assessment science.
Nigel previously led a team of behavioural scientists at IBM, working at the intersection of behavioural science, AI and Human Resources. His work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, European CEO and European Business Review, and he co-authored the bestselling book The Power of People. He is also an elected Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
His contribution helped us bridge what has always been central to CDNA: the science of leadership with the reality of how leaders actually think, feel, judge, act and build habits in the flow of work.
